More Winter Action in Florida

Hi Montreal sailors and readers from further afield. I'm visiting family in Florida and have been kicking boats at the Laser Mideast regatta, and recently heard of the 29er action in nearby Sarasota. Congratulations to the Canadian teams including Alex and Eric Chouinard, and Martin Lefebrve and Thierry Chaliflour of the RStLYC who placed 3rd and 5th respectively at the 29er Midwinter East. The Chouinards have now qualified for the 2008 Youth World Championships.
